Free-entry, skill-based daily competition
The promoter is Smart Choice Claims Limited (company number 13062399), Wellfield House, Park House Lane, Keynsham, Bristol, BS31 2SG, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”).
Each day we run a free skill competition on Squaddo. Players solve that day’s word, and the best performance wins a prize.
This is a competition of skill. Each day, the winning entry is the one that solves the word in the fewest guesses. Where two or more players solve in the same number of guesses, the faster solving time (measured by our servers) wins. Solving times are recorded by our system at the moment of play to ensure fairness.
Judging is automatic and based on these objective criteria. Our decision is final.
The daily winner is shown on the Squaddo leaderboard. To claim your mug, message FYB via the FYB Facebook inbox with proof of your win. Prizes that are not claimed within 30 days are forfeited. Claimed prizes are posted within 14 working days to a UK address.
Each person may enter once per day, through one account. Using multiple accounts, bots, automation or any other method to gain extra entries or an unfair advantage will lead to disqualification.
We may disqualify entries we reasonably believe involve cheating, automation, multiple accounts, or any breach of the Terms of Play.
We will use winners’ personal data only to run the competition and award the prize, as described in the Squaddo Privacy Policy. We may publish a winner’s display name on the leaderboard.
We are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not recorded due to technical issues outside our control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may amend these rules or cancel the competition for genuine reasons; we’ll post any changes on squaddo.co.uk. These rules are governed by the law of England and Wales.
